I should go wake up Mark, but before I do, I wanted to post on this.
This is usually what happens to him. He takes the boys up to bed and lays down with them and he's out before they are. What has been even funnier is to listen to him tell a story to the boys and listen to where the story goes when he is falling asleep telling it. Thing One usually gets mad and demands for him to finish the story. Thing Two just asks questions like, Why did Jack climb the beanstalk to go home and do laundry? In Mark's defense, it's difficult for a story to make sense as you are drifting off to sleep. But so hilarious.
I usually go and tap on his foot and wake him up. SuperNanny would be pissed at us, but we don't care. It's good snuggle time with the boys, Mark gets a nap, I do stuff or don't do stuff and it's no big deal to us right now. We may be creating a beast down the road, but for now, I'm just glad my boys have a Dad who will snuggle.
(and I cannot figure out how to tag this post without it automatically picking sleep deprived so I renamed 'sleep' to be sleeeep.)
Good night.
