phlegm

Three up, three down.
Down for the count that is.
We played musical beds last night. First Special K crying and needing to be fed. Then Thing Two crying and needing comfort/meds, then Thing One wet the bed, then Thing Two crying yet again, and followed by Special K crying - too early to be needing to eat again. Mark went up and replaced the pacifier for her each time she lost it after coughing and ended up sleeping on the futon in her room; I laid in bed w/ Thing One after changing his pj's and putting a towel on the bed, and then moved Thing Two down into our bed with me, then went back up to feed K and sent Mark back down to sleep. Then Thing Two woke up and I got up with him.
Following all of this still?
So Thing Two and I cuddled and ate some breakfast and then K woke up and then Thing One and eventually they woke up Mark. And of all the times to promise Mark that he could sleep in this morning. (ugh - but I owe him tenfold) Regarding the sequence of the night's events, I think I got that all in the order that it happened.
At this point I've given meds to all three and by the time K got hers I couldn't remember what I had done and called Poison Control b/c I was afraid I had given her too much. After hearing not to worry, I decided it was best to make coffee.
I'd take pictures of their sorry eye-watery, nose-runny, red faces, but that probably wouldn't be very kind. Needless to say, we are definitely going to the doctor tomorrow with all three; hopefully not today if things get worse. Just gearing up for another painful night. My best medical diagnosis: Thing One: ear infection; Thing Two: probable ear, possible strep; Special K: possible ear... who knows.
Thing One, being the Drama King that he is (takes after his Maba so I say this lovingly and knowingly - one of my traits he'd be better off without), appears to be on his deathbed with all of the moaning and groaning. Not kidding either - we should maybe make a video.  It's hard to know with him if he's full of illness or just full of IT.
Sweet sweet Thing Two is just sweet about it all, snuggling in and tearful and wanting to be held. I hot Maba.
K still has lots and lots o' smiles but has lots of fluids pouring out of her - phlegm, drool and poopy upon poopy diaper...

the fun continues and yet it's only 1 p.m.
more coffee needed.
