Consider yourself warned... this is one of those boring blog entries... ok, so they may all be boring, but this one is extremely so...
Thing Two wanted his picture taken with Special K on Friday.
So I complied and posed the two of them.
They are happy.
Then Thing Two wanted to give Special K some kisses.
Attempts were made at catching this on camera.
No luck.
And Special K doesn't look like she's having fun anymore.
The kiss wasn't happening and so he just went for it and though it looks like he was trying to dip and kiss her - it was actually the loss of control and balance.
Photo shoot over.
On Saturday, we went to see Bumpa at rehab. The boys were great all morning as I shopped for clothes for them at the outlet and then we made our way into the cities. Thing Two was in need of a nap, but would not, could not fall asleep.
Of course until we were at the rehab center.
Seriously, 2 minutes earlier I turned around and he was still with us.
Then I pull up in front of the center, shut off the car, turn around and...
out.
Totally, completely out.
I carried him in asleep and laid him down next to my Dad. He slept on the floor for an hour.
Not sure how long Bumpa will be in rehab this time around... but we go to stay connected and hopefully bring some good cheer to him. It's hard to think that this is the only way my children will remember my father, if they remember him at all.
Finally back home and I decided it was time for Special K to try her hand at real food. Breast milk is best, but I suppose she better learn to sustain herself on other food too. She did pretty well and of course looked cute in the bib and with food all over her mouth. I hope she loves food as much as I do! At least more than Thing Two...
Finally the night ended with a photo shoot for Special K. We don't have any parties to go to, or really any special visitors, but that doesn't mean we can't look good sitting around the house.
I love having a girl so I can buy all of these pretty dresses I see. Who knows - she might go goth or emo on me as a teen, so while I can, I'm getting my fix of seeing her in girly stuff. I just hope she wears a size 11 shoe like me so we can share shoes when she is older. ha! Not that I think red patent leather is my thing, so hopefully we'll have the same taste later on. Without further ado, here she is:
