Thing One is at the phase of never wanting to stop playing long enough to go to the bathroom. His father and I have long since learned of the various potty dances that he does and pretty much know which ones mean #1 or #2. We stress that he needs to listen to his body and go, because it's not healthy to not go - and if he didn't go for a long time he could get sick.

So, he's doing his #2 dance and I'm watching and I say, Why don't you just go?

Thing Two: Mom, I've done this like 6 times and I haven't even died, so no.

He went anyway.
