Ok, this is not going to be a sweet, positive post so considered yourself warned.
And if you do day care, no personal offense.
But day care sucks.
So... I'm supposed to feel good about paying someone else to care for my children? Why?
And maybe I don't have to feel good about it, but still have to do it.
I so cannot stand that our society cannot work something out so a mom (or dad if so be it) can stay home with her children while they are young.
My day care said to me as I picked my kids tonight, and I quote,
"you know on those half days that you drop off the kids... if you could just keep K up during the day more and not let her nap because last week she was noisy during the other kids' quiet time.... if you could."

SHE IS 10 MONTHS OLD!!!!
WTF!
No, I'm sorry I will not and if she screams her bloody lungs out during THEIR quiet time, I don't frickin' care! She is a baby and if she naps 2 hours in the morning I will let her... and if she is awake and loud during when you see her - deal with it! It's what I'm PAYING you for...
God, I'm pissed right now.
And then Thing 2 just handed me an organic Cheetoh (isn't technology great?) and so now I'm better...
