bedtime conversation

I like chatting with my boys when snuggling in bed (preface this with - WHEN bedtime goes ok).
Tonight Thing Two was in his bed (while I was laying with Thing One) and says, Where is my blanket?
Now the kid has about 8 "blankets" that he sleeps with - two are his all-time faves, so who knows which one he was exactly talking about/looking for and of course Thing One picks up on this. He sits up and says sarcastically (another apple.tree. moment), Which blanket - you have about 8?!!
I tell Thing One that he does have two favorites and he'll know when he finds it. Thing One said, which ones are those and why? So we talk about the blankets Thing Two has had for the longest since he was a baby which leads into this random conversation...

Thing One says, Well, I've lived for like 20 weeks.
More than that, I say.
Well, then 40 weeks.
No honey, it's more like 260 weeks, I say.
Thing One: Whoa... no Mom, more like 268! ... Is that more or less?
More, I say. And probably more closer to accurate than my guess.

So he continues: Well Mom, you're not that good with numbers. Me? I don't get excited about numbers all that much.
Then I say, What do you get excited about?
Well, not parades, because they have fire trucks and ambulances and those sirens get pretty loud. But usually most everything, except fire trucks with loud sirens.

???!

Thing Two tonight - just wanted to snuggle with me and "Sock Man" who sister Katie made for him for Christmas. Gosh he can be so darn cute. If they fall asleep soon, because my insomniac Thing Two is likely STILL awake (and it's 9 p.m.) I will try to get a picture. Gotta remember these sweet moments.
