How lucky are my children? So lucky.
They have an amazing big brother who comes to our house to help babysit, to play with, to teach, to read with, to love them. We don't get to see Casey enough because life and distance get in the way of that reality, and we don't get to spend enough ALONE time with him because Things One, Two and Special K (our reality) get in the way of that too. But when we do see him, he is ready with open arms and lots of attention. My kids have no idea how lucky they are. The above pictures are from Ryan - his beloved and ours - and thankfully she shared them with me. So now we have more documentation of how much he shares his love with them. (Either that or he is about to piledrive Thing One into the carpet which I myself have been tempted to do on many an occasion). Regardless, I am thankful for the pictures because we all know how "wonderful" I am at remembering to take them. Above, the boys are battling the "Robot" who I'm sure allowed defeat to happen (then again, Thing Two is pretty relentless).
(after getting over the shock of this question) I said, Well, lots of people would help take care of you. And I named some. Plus I told him I don't plan on that happening any time soon.
But if it did, I have no doubt that Casey would teach these children all of the amazing things his father taught him, and then some.
And on top of all of that, Mark and I think he's a pretty amazing brother to Katie and Luke too.
