We're Baa-aack!!

Whoa.

It's been awhile.

Needless to say I will do my best as we end 2010 and going into 2011 to keep family and friends updated on the latest pictures, happenings, hopes and dreams, tantrums and frustrations, and of course, jokes, that occur on a regular basis in our family.

If you scroll down just a bit, you will read about Christmas 2010. I have not posted since then. Lots of stuff (read: crap; read: no, never mind) happened in early January that sent my life in somewhat of a whirlwind. Suffice it to say, I feel I came out of it all in one piece and once again have certain faith that God has me on a path in life. Whenever things have felt darkest, I ended up realizing God knew what He/I was going to do all along. What was birthed out of that experience was my own private practice with a colleague and a realization of a long-held dream. I am blessed to be surrounded by supportive family and friends; we could not have began this journey without that support. (and I say "we" because Mark has definitely been walking with me on this path of navigating starting a business, dealing with health insurance companies, and waiting to get paid for work completed!) I know there have been many times he likely has wondered, "you really want to live this way?" Ah yes... the joys of paycheck to paycheck.

So - read through old posts and refresh your memory.
Thing One is still a Lego phenom.
Thing Two is our beautiful empathic wild child.
Special K, well, let's just say her beauty and charm melt our hearts pretty much daily. And if you don't remember "Boo" on Monsters, Inc., watch this clip to get a glimpse of what we get to hear as either everything is a song or then again, as I type, tears. Ah, life is hard for two year old.

Happy Reading and check back often!
