to bite or not to bite

Well... it's not a question, because, obvi, the answer is "No!"
Thing Two doesn't quite get that. At day care at least. So I come home from work hungry tired needing to feed Special K who is sleeping and first see Thing One with a scratch down the side of his neck. I guess he and some girl were spinning and she bumped him and he fell into the side of the toy box. Then Mark tells me that Thing Two was biting people today. When I kneel down to ask him about it, he tells me "NO!" and gets angry - not wanting to talk about it at all.
Then he said, I angry, I sad Maba. I crying. I wanted you Maba.
(ugh - heart strings - why am I working??!!!)
I go to sit down at the table to eat my supper which my wonderful husband made...
(homemade chicken noodle soup, YUM)
and Thing Two says, I push your chair in Maba.
(heart strings tugged - again)
So my sabertooth Thing Two is a total sweetheart unless you are a 3 year old named Abby at day care.
Hopefully they'll date in HS and this will all be long-forgotten.
I ate.
I fed Special K.
I gave lots of hugs and kisses and warnings about no biting.
But more hugs and kisses than warnings.
