I'm truly not going to win Mother of the Year awards for having photographed my children. Especially for major events, celebrations, outings, etc. But if you've read this blog before, you know that about me.
And you think I'm going to have Halloween pictures?! Just because I was able to pull it off last year, does not mean this will be an annual occurrence. I used my mom's digital camera and took pictures. Other people took pictures of my children. I did not.
So, since I haven't seen/received any photos of my kids, here is what they looked like - thanks to other pictures I have found.
Thing One looked like this:
Bill of Poop and Boogies had one of his kids in the same outfit/make-up that One was in. I'm glad at least THEY got a picture of it. Truly, and others can attest to this, Thing One's make-up looked pretty similar and the gloves were/are just as big.
Thing Two looked like this:
Look familiar? Yes, that's him at his 3rd birthday party, and yes, that's what he wore for Halloween. My children were supposed to be ghosts. That did not happen. Per their choice. So, even though I don't have an "official" Halloween pic, this is just as good.
And last, but not least, Special K:
This is a pic of her brother Thing One when he donned the dinosaur costume for Halloween in 2004. He and K look similar, except he outweighs her by about 10 lbs. At least. He was a CHUNK. This pic was taken when he was 6 months old!! Regardless, this costume got recycled and K made an especially beautiful dinosaur, if that's possible, and I think she was proof that it is.
For the record, my kids can now know what they looked like on Halloween 2009, whether I took pictures or not. Now I just need Photoshop...
