K + black beans
K had her 15 month appt earlier this week. All is well except for the clinic is out of flu shots. I love the PSA's that say, "Don't worry... there is plenty of flu vaccine to go around." Not in rural MN is there!! Ugh.
And so we wait. Her doc said to wait for the clinic to get both the flu and H1N1 vaccine so she can get both at the same time. I guess with the shots, you either have to get them at the same time or if you get one you have to wait 28 days to get the other... but I'm not a medical professional so ask for yourself.
Her stats?
Weight is 22lbs. 2 oz., weighing in at the whoppin' 38th percentile.
Height is 29 3/8 inches, marked at the 20th percentile.
Head of course is at the 80th percentile.
Grammy, Me, Aunt Lynn, Nonny
Nonny had her 98th birthday. Shh... don't tell ANYONE. She doesn't tell anyone her age and would be furious is she knew I did so. God forbid someone think that she is old. (ahem) She had to stop aerobics earlier this summer b/c she tore a ligament in her shoulder from lifting weights. She's bummed about that, but still walks miles a day. Works out more than me. On more days than not I pray I have her genes. We took her out to eat and I feel pretty blessed to be able to still hang with my grandma.
Oh. And Nonny informed me that 75 is the new 35-40, so I guess I got that goin' for me? Which is nice.
